Came here yesterday for lunch with a friend, party of 2, and really enjoyed the meal! I got the bulgogi and tofu soup combo with the dumpling tofu soup, and we also shared a korean seafood pancake appetizer. They also serve Korean side dishes like kimchi, fishcakes, veggies, etc. Total was around $54 per person, but I had a ton of leftovers that was like 2 more meals for me. So you can definitely just order 1 dish and feel pretty full. Pros: - Delicious food, exactly what you would expect. No surprises, you come for good reliable Korean food and that's exactly what you will get. - Very kind servers who kept our hot waters refilled and checked in enough times - Decent sitting space, I would say this place is best for parties of 2-4 - Easy parking lot out front - The tofu soup has spiciness levels, the "medium" is like shin ramen so I got mild. The tofu soup was my favorite and it hit the spot. - LOVE that they give you a full egg to dump into your tofu soup! Eggs are expensive these days Cons: - Bulgogi was a little dry, but still delicious.

Wow might just be one of my new favorite Korean spots in Fremont! The food here was truly the definitely of comfort. From the EXCELLENT banchan, spicy beef ramen, extra spicy seafood tofu soup, soybean stew, and grilled mackerel, everything was perfect! The spicy beef ramen was probably my favorite item. So simple yet so good! Beef flavor shines through and is complimented by the spice. The extra spicy seafood tofu soup has tons of seafood, and I loved how well the savory soybean stew and mackerel went together. I have no complaints about the food! Price wise, this place is pretty expensive for the portions. But the quality is there and the service is also really great. Place feels homey and comfortable. Can't wait to be back soon!

Came here on a Saturday at noon and the restaurant was empty (but did fill up quick). The food was excellent--flavorful, authentic, and well-prepared. The banchan was fresh and plentiful, with a nice variety that complemented the meal. The main dishes were well-seasoned, and the portions were generous. The service, however, was just okay. When we arrived, the server told us we could sit anywhere, but then immediately directed us to a different table, which was a bit confusing. While not a big deal, it set a slightly awkward tone for the start of the meal. Overall, the quality of the food makes this place worth visiting!

Nice and relax ambiance . Family restaurant with good food and service . They have a lunch menu , items are $17 each , plus a dinner menu with tofu hot pot . We have seafood tofu hot pot . The broth is very tasty.Lots of squid, mussels and some scallops inside . Side dishes are refillable . There are some newer Korean restaurants near by . The price of the new restaurants are $6-$10 more per item and are bigger size . This is the perfect place and portion for me .

This is my new favorite Korean restaurant in the Fremont area and I can't believe that I haven't tried Miga until now. Miga is the coziest Korean restaurant I've been to and has such a mom and pop vibe. The restaurant itself is dated, but that doesn't matter since tantalizing smells hit your nose as you open the door. Seating is limited, so be aware if you come during peak times. I arrived before the lunch rush on a Saturday but was also dining solo, so I was seated promptly. There were also plenty of Korean grandmas that started arriving in the middle of my meal, so that's how you know this place is legit. I was feeling a bit under the weather, so I beelined towards the tofu soup section of the menu. I was immediately drawn to the assorted tofu soup (#6), since it came with a good variety of meat. I did still take a look at the rest of the menu and took a few mental notes about what dishes I would like to try next when I returned. Everything was quite affordably priced, especially for Korean food in the Bay Area. I didn't have to wait long for my banchan and boiling tofu soup to arrive to my table. The soup was so bubbly that some of it was spilling over the sides of the hot stone bowl, which I love seeing. I was also very pleasantly surprised by the amount of banchan that I received, especially since I was dining alone. I quickly added my raw egg to my tofu soup to cook and started to dig in to my banchan. All the ingredients were so fresh and flavorful! As I went through my steaming bowl of tofu soup, I was surprised by how much meat there was. For the price of the tofu soup, I'm used to a decent amount of meat/seafood, but this was the most amount of meat & seafood that I've ever received in a tofu soup. And they still managed to pack a good amount of tofu in my bowl too! Needless to say I was very happy with my choice for lunch. The flavors were also on point (I got medium spicy but could have gone with spicy) and so comforting. I was hungry that afternoon, so I cleared every little plate of banchan and finished my tofu soup and rice bowl, but it was definitely a filling lunch. I am extremely pleased with my first experience at Miga and can't wait to take my husband there the next time we are in Fremont. I would highly recommend Miga for anyone looking for a comforting meal with good service!

I really do like this place. I especially liked the Tteobeoki. It's probably the best texture to the rice cakes that I've had. You can control the spiciness of it too we got mild now I want to come back and go one level higher. The seafood tofu soup was good too. The service was great and the staff was really nice. On the screens they were playing non stop kpop girl groups that was fun too. Will definitely come back.

Authentic Korean home cooking ! The staff makes you feel like family and you can see the family making your meals and they smile right back at you. Love this place and the food and never fails as our go to Korean home style cooking. Oh and the banchan is fresh made and the best one you will ever taste.

I've been hearing good reviews about the Black Goat Stew so I had to come try it! I came on a Tuesday night and there was no wait to be seated. From the beginning to the end, the wait staff was very attentive and always kept an eye on us to make sure we were getting our waters and side dishes refilled. For the stew, it was a lot larger than expected! We ordered the 2-portion version of it and it looks larger because of all the vegetables stacked on top. It takes around ten minutes to boil down and cook the vegetables properly. The stew itself was great! I could've used a bit more vegetables, but there's always an option to pay for additional vegetables for all the veggie lovers out there. The goat was also great when dipped in the sauce!! It's very chewy and tender. The only reason why my review isn't a 5 star is because the stew was a little salty. We ended up pouring around a cup of water into the broth to help with the saltiness, and it worked! But once it simmered for another ten minutes, it was back to being salty. I would absolutely order this dish again, especially because the weather is starting to get colder. Next time, I'm planning on getting things to-go to see if the taste is any different!

Came here alone during my lunch break and was surprised by the hospitality the staff showed! From when I entered the door to when I left, I received such good service from everyone! I ordered a spicy beef tofu soup- one of my go to orders at korean restaurants! 10/10 must try! It stayed hot throughout my dining experience too! Will definitely go back here to try other things from their menu!
